Welcome back to Chapter 3 of Purrfect Lover! Thank you so much for continuing to follow Mika and Taku's heart-pounding living situation! 🐱🌸
In this chapter, after returning home from her extremely eventful shopping trip at the mall, Mika is immediately met with a heart-stopping surprise! Taku is waiting for her right behind the front door, still completely undressed! While the stunning sight is totally overwhelming for her, his familiar, quirky habits only serve to prove one undeniable thing... this mysterious, handsome man truly is her missing cat! However, she quickly learns that living with a 'human' pet is far more complicated and chaotic than she ever imagined. As night falls, Taku innocently demands his usual bedtime routine: sleeping right by her side in bed and receiving a gentle goodnight kiss. What used to be a sweet, cozy ritual with a small furry kitten has now transformed into an incredibly awkward, blushing, and heart-pounding ordeal with a handsome man! How will Mika handle her new 'Purrfect Lover' when the boundaries of affection begin to blur?
To be completely honest with you all, I had absolute blast writing and drawing this entire sequence! 🙈💖 It was so much fun illustrating Taku's character because, despite having a fully grown, handsome human body, his mind and instincts still think and act just like a clingy house cat! He genuinely doesn't understand human boundaries or social norms yet. He just wants his usual spot on Mika-chan's bed next to his favorite human! On the flip side, poor Mika-chan is completely losing her mind from embarrassment because Taku is now... well, ermmm... very different, tall, and undeniably attractive! Hahaha~! 😜🔥
Balancing Taku's innocent cat-like behavior with Mika's intense internal panic was such a hilarious yet sweet challenge to bring to the page! I really loved drawing those subtle facial expressions and awkward body language panels in the bedroom scene. 🎨✨
